Youth Programs

Since 2005 the Bell Tower Theater has provided high quality youth programs that provide both entertainment and arts learning to kids of all ages. In just five years we have touched the lives of thousands of area kids and their families.

Kids Take the Stage Youth Theater Classes

Three times each year we offer children's theater classes for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. This program serves 300 kids each year.

These classes teach such theater skills as acting, singing, pantomime, improvisation and stage make-up, but more importantly they help kids develop real life skills like confidence, reading, team work, self-esteem and communication. Learn More

Free Summer Musical Program

Celebrating its 5th-Annual production in 2010, this program provides a free theatrical learning experience for more than 200 kids ages 7 to 18 and a low-cost cultural opportunity for more than 1,300 adult and child audience members.

Our program is the only one in the area that does not charge a fee. It is also the only program that provides kids with the chance to work backstage, reinforcing the idea that theater is a collaborative art form and that designers, costumers, box office staff and technical crews are just as important to the success of a show as the cast. Family Series                                    

After the great success of the pilot of this program in 2009, we are making this program a part of our annual schedule. Building on our reputation as an entertainment destination for families, this series presents high quality family entertainment at an affordable price.
