Accessibility Header

The Bell Tower Theater is proud to offer assistance to our patrons with special needs.

We are fully wheelchair accessible. Our ramp entrance is located on the east side of the building facing Chaney Road. This entrance is open 30 minutes before the start of each performance and remains open throughout the show. If you need ramp access to the theater at any other time, please call the box office at 563-588-3377, and we will gladly unlock the door for you.

Thanks to a grant from the Dubuque Sertoma Club, a donation from Evelyn Miens and assistance from Lifeline Audio Visual Technologies, the Bell Tower Theater installed a Hearing Loop system in early 2011. That system was updated in December 2023.

To access the Hearing Loop, patrons simply need to turn their hearing aid to the “Telecoil” program. Then, the music and the actors’ voices will come directly through the hearing aid.

Patrons who would like to use the Hearing Loop but do not have a hearing aid with a telecoil, can use one of several headsets the theater has on hand during each performance. These headsets are available at no charge.

If you have any questions about the accessibility of the Bell Tower Theater, please call us at 563-588-3377 or email info@belltowertheater.net.
